AHI 2007 Summer Program
AHI will be featuring 2 separate programs this summer - Bantam and Midget/Junior.
Bantam Program - The 5 week Bantam program will focus on preparing the player for their minor hockey training camps. The on-ice program will introduce new team concepts while focusing on developing individual skills. Elite 1994 players looking to participate in the Bantam program should contact AHI before completing the registration.
Midget/Junior Program - This intense 7-week program is focused on developing skills and preparing the players for their respective camps. The program will run until Labour Day weekend, which is when most Junior/Midget training camps begin. The on-ice focus at this level will be on systems, finding open ice, playing in traffic, puck movement and battling for position. Elite 1992 players looking to participate in the Midget/Junior program should contact AHI before completing the registration.
AHI will limit the number of players per session to 15 skaters and 3 goalies. This will allow AHI to focus on our commitment to teaching each individual player and focus on improving their game. Players will be tested in June and then re-evaluated at the end of the program. We hope this will offer a great measuring tool for each athlete to set the bar a little higher.
